New Assassin’s Creed in 2011?
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood only released just over a week ago but already there are rumors floating around of the next official installment of the series coming next year. During a financial briefing call, Yves Guillemot, the CEO of Ubisoft said "There will be something around Assassin's," He cryptically continues, "That's the only thing we can say."

The Elder Scrolls V In The Works; Direct Sequel To Oblivion
Here's the news we've all been waiting for. Eurogamer reports that The Elder Scrolls V, the fifth chapter in the long running RPG series, is currently in development. The voice actors will soon start their recording process to record what I'm sure will be thousands of lines of dialogue. The report also confirms that this will be a direct sequel to the critically acclaimed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

New Joell Ortiz Song Called I’m A Beast
Here's a new track from Joell Ortiz in anticipation for his long awaited sophomore studio album, 'Free Agent'. It's simply called I'm A Beast and damn is he ever. With every new song I hear from the Brooklyn rapper, I'm getting more and more amped for this album. This man truly is a beast and the best rapper to come out of New York in a long time. Be sure to check out 'Free Agent' when it hits the stores November 30th.

Halo Wars Site Gets Plug Pulled On Dec. 15th
Not even two years after its release, Cocopjojo, a member of the community moderation team at 343 Industries, announced that HaloWars.com will be closing indefinitely on December 15th, 2010. This will include the removal of leaderboards, stat-tracking, the official forums and essentially means the breakup of the community. The site will transition into the Halo Waypoint forums but that means there will be no dedicated section to the Real Time Strategy game, essentially dismantling the community.

Dr. Dre’s Detox To Release February 2011
Yepp. February is the date that 'Detox' will finally release. Has hell frozen over? Are pigs flying? The followup to the hugely successful 'Chronic 2001' has been in development since 2003 and has been delayed so many times it's become the industry joke. It's the equivalent of Duke Nukem Forever in that it's kind of become this unicorn that we all know is around but will never actually see (ironically both have now been confirmed as nearing completion).

J. Cole Talks Mixtape And Upcoming Debut
Last Friday, J. Cole released his excellent third mixtape, 'Friday Night Lights' (download here for free) for clamoring fans. It is purported that 4,000 logged on per second to download it. What does this mean for his upcoming debut album on Jay-Z's Roc Nation label? Hopefully, big sales and mainstream recognition. He already started building buzz in the mainstream with the moderate success of Who Dat.
