Hollywood is renowned for creating unexpected patch-ups, breakups, rumors, and eccentric romances. Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s rumored love story falls under this very category. The rumors began in early April 2023 when the gossip page DeuxMoi dropped a message on Instagram about the blooming relationship between Jenner and Chalamet, even though the information didn’t have any concrete backing.
Aside from the above, the pair were spotted together on two occasions, adding to the speculations. Back in January 2023, they were seen together at Paul Gaultier’s runway show, where snaps of them closely interacting with each other were captured. Later, the reality star and the Hollywood actor were also seen attending dinner with her sister Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny in West Hollywood along with other A-list celebrities.
On April 13, per TMZ reports, Jenner’s Range Rover was seen parked in Chalamet’s driveway, thus strengthening rumors of their dating. Nobody saw The Life of Kylie star getting out of her car, but she wasn’t found inside the vehicle either. This new discovery took the internet by storm causing a commotion on social media and leading the social media users and Twitterati to express varied opinions on the matter.
On April 17, a source closer to Entertainment Tonight revealed their relationship as “new and exciting,” adding,
“They are keeping things casual at this point. It’s not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes. It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.”
April 19 brought new updates about the duo’s rumored relationship. An insider opened up to People saying that the couple has been found casually “hanging out getting to know each other.” Elaborating further, the source clarified, “She is getting to know him. Kylie is having fun. After years of back and forth with Travis [Scott], she just wants to date without any pressure.”
Perhaps the most interesting development in their purported relationship status was Kylie’s outfit at the 2023 Met Gala, held on May 1. Kylie, in accordance with the event’s theme, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” wore a red Haider Ackermann gown which has been interpreted as another sign of Jenner and Chalamet’s romance. As it turns out, the Dune star is reportedly a friend and muse of the renowned French designer, and was previously spotted wearing his outfits at various events, including the 2021 Met Gala.
Notwithstanding the numerous events which have been expertly tied together to confirm the continuing rumors, neither party has spoken on the topic. But we will definitely keep our eyes peeled for further updates.
