‘Poker Face’ star Natasha Lyonne reveals the one condition she would need in order to venture into the MCU

That's a pretty big condition.

After making a monumental career comeback as Nicky Nichols in Netflix’s comedy extravaganza Orange is the New Black, Natasha Lyonne skyrocketed back into Hollywood stardom. All of this attention eventually led to Lyonne writing and starring in Netflix’s Russian Doll and becoming a major player in Peacock’s Poker Face, although speculation around the talented performer joining the MCU still continues to circulate. Luckily enough, the infamous New Yorker has revealed the one condition she would need to join the MCU.

While chatting with fellow actresses on the THR Roundtable, Lyonne revealed that she would be down to join the MCU if Larry David could have his one Marvel movie. In fact, Lyonne and The Bear star Ayo Edebiri even crafted their own concept of David’s Marvel film, which would involve the two of them running around trying to catch the SNL actor.

Seeing as Edebiri has already secured a spot in Marvel’s Thunderbolts, perhaps the idea of Larry David receiving his own MCU-centric standalone film isn’t that far-fetched of an idea after all. On the other hand, joining the MCU might be a first for Lyonne, but it certainly isn’t her first test in Marvel waters — with the 44-year-old actress notably portraying Sommerfield back in 2003’s Blade: Trinity.

And yet, the possibility of Lyonne venturing out into the MCU feels like a dream come true. Now just imagine if David could actually get signed on too — that would feel like a cinematic paradise. Quick! Someone get Kevin Feige on the phone!
