Ryan Reynolds uses a Super Bowl promo to apologize for focusing so much on the ‘other’ football

Or did Ryan Reynolds use the occasion to put focus on his soccer team Wrexham?

The Super Bowl is the biggest thing going on today and there is no other news that can encompass it, or so it would seem. Ryan Reynolds found a way with a very slick promo to bring attention to his Aviation Gin in one of the most ingenious ways.

Two tickets to next year’s Super Bowl are on the line. As Reynolds announces in his Gin promotion, fans will have a chance to win a trip to the most excellent game on earth. As everyone knows by now, the actor has been busy co-owning the Wrexham football team and fanatically supporting them throughout the season. His head is in a whole different space as he watches his football team kick a ball around a rectangular field. That’s a totally different type of football game that will be played today in the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

So, what does Reynolds have to do with the NFL? That’s the thing. In his most charming way, he talks about the “other football” while promoting the Super Bowl and his own brand of Gin. That’s just good marketing and good timing.

Tom Brady wasn’t the only one but was notorious for teaching fans of the NFL that anything can happen in a minute. It only takes a few seconds to score a touchdown and break the heart of the other team. That’s why he’s the GOAT. But Reynolds is giving everyone two minutes.

If anyone played football, they know what the two-minute drill is. Get on it! There are big tickets on the line.

Just in case anyone missed where they have to go to get in on the action, it was put up in the video and here it is now.

Of course, Deadpool usurped an opportunity on the NFL’s biggest day of the year to bring attention to his Gin and his “other team,” but don’t hold that against him. It’s an opportunity and fans should be jumping on it on both occasions that were mentioned in the promo. Pay particular attention to that.

Flag on the play! When anyone goes to the site, they get a very funny warning. Watch the video again and know when to go to the site to sign up.

Sitting in a recliner chair and watching the Super Bowl is not the same as being there. Here is a chance to go to the big game. Don’t miss it!
