The Rock hilariously wishing Kevin Hart a happy birthday makes us wish we were a fish

The Rock has a rather unusual way of sending birthday wishes.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart have a beautiful relationship. The actors have appeared in numerous films together including two Jumanji movies, Central Intelligence, and the animated children’s film DC League of Super-Pets. It comes as no surprise then, when The Rock wishes to celebrate his comparatively little bud’s birthday on TikTok.

Hart turned 44 this year on July 6, and though Johnson may be a little late to congratulate the comedic actor, at least he did so with as much reverence as possible… but not really, it was hilarious. Johnson utilized a video of him catching a rather large fish, only it had Hart’s head superimposed over the top with Hart’s classic screams thrown in as the fish tries to escape Johnson’s clutches. Johnson wrote underneath, “Happy belated birthday to my #1 favorite catch of all time @kevinhart.”

Much of the humor from Johnson and Hart’s collaborations comes from the fact that the two are night and day. Hart is a short king who is known for his loud voice and high-pitched screaming, pitching himself as a very “unmasculine” character, Johnson on the other hand is huge, stacked, and known for appearing more stoic and capable, with “masculinity” just dripping from him. The partnering of these two types of characters leads to some pretty funny escapades with both of them making fun of themselves to an extent.

This is most obvious in the films Jumanji and Central Intelligence, where Johnson takes on the role of a cool and collected fighter and planner, whilst Hart essentially runs around panicking like a headless chicken. Despite their differences, the two have a great friendship which can be seen during their press tours for their films and also on social media. Who can forget the tortilla slap challenge the two did during their press tour for DC League of Super-Pets?

Well, we shall join Johnson in his felicitations, and we hope to see more of the pair further down the line. We need more content like that tortilla challenge!
