Why did Chris Evans deactivate his social media accounts? The speculation, explained

It’s not unheard of for a celebrity to deactivate a social media account for whatever reason. It’s just fun to speculate why, and those guesses about why Chris Evans has deactivated his have a good chance of being right on the nose.

In response to Taron Egerton’s posting on Instagram that he was going to take a break from social media, Evans shared his post and chimed in with, “Count me in. Gonna Take a little break everyone.” Then on Twitter, he posted, “Hey everyone, I’m treating myself to a summer with less screen time so I’m taking a little break from Twitter and IG. See you soon! Much love!” While Egerton only posted that he was stepping away, Evans went a step further and deactivated his accounts.

Of course, that gives his stans no way of expressing how much they appreciate him with all that he does for them unless they post about it on their own. Being sarcastic is fun. Of course, Captain America could just put the phone down and walk away from it but as everyone knows, that is easier said than done. An hour after thinking about getting off social media, almost everyone still finds themselves scrolling.

Of course, shooting Ghosted and Pain Hustlers must have had him on a hectic schedule. Plus with Red One in post-production, while an untitled Scott Pilgrim anime series is in production, his work is so demanding that he has definitely earned himself some downtime. However, his stans seem to think it’s about something else and that has to do with rumors based on leaks that he might be marrying his girlfriend Alba Baptista.

Some are more certain than others that getting married is indeed the case.

His fans are really up on their gossip, knowing that Alba deactivated her account last year after intimate photos of her were leaked.

She seems so nice with such an innocent face, it really makes you realize how sick some people are in this world.

With him at 42 and her at 25, there are already bets on whether or not it will last — and they haven’t even tied the knot yet.

This notion right here is the very reason everyone could use a little break.

Social media was a great invention that has brought friends and family together regardless of the distance between them just as the invention of the internet itself intended, bringing the world closer together. There is always a downside to everything, and that’s what Chris Evans is taking a break from for whatever reason.
