‘It’s Always Sunny’ promises to drop spoilers for every Eagles Super Bowl touchdown

Football has never been more interesting.

Vegas has bets swarming around all over the gambling metaverse right now with the Super Bowl finally here and yet, one bet seems to be bigger than any other out there. When the Twitter account “It’s Always Sunny” popped off with promising fans details of the show for every Philadelphia Eagle score, it became larger than life.

Tonight as the Kansas City Chiefs faces off against the Philadelphia Eagles, it seems only fitting that the show’s Twitter account would try to scheme some attention on the occasion. That is poetry in action. Life reflecting art.

If that were only true. What a tease as a second later, the official account for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia announced they were only joking, but it would still be nice to know some of those details. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is (obviously) set in Philadelphia starring Danny Devito, Katlin Olson, Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, and the show’s creator Rob McElhenney, a rag-tag crew who own a dying pub and are looking for any way to scheme any buck.

Joke’s aside. It seems only right that they should go through with their promise. Everyone knows these days that it’s impossible to get fired from a writing, directing, or even a creator position! Totally out of the question.

Give the fans what was promised. Everyone’s in favor, even the crew itself.

Imagine being a Kansas City fan and then realizing you’re also a fan of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That would be a conflict. Learn the rules. It’s not as simple as that.

Some fans might have missed the tweet. So, let’s reiterate. This is a joke. The account made it very clear it is a joke. They will not be giving out details of the next season no matter how good the Eagles play.

It would be nice, but it’s not going to happen. Enjoy the game between the Chiefs and the Eagles, and then watch It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia when its next season comes out on FX, FXX, and Hulu.
