Rihanna inspires the best memes of Super Bowl LVII

The memes came as quick as Patrick Mahomes could get out of the pocket...with a bad ankle.

The City of Philadelphia won’t need to grease the poles after all since Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs walked off with a 38-35 win over the Eagles. That doesn’t stop the memes from rolling in that actually started after Rihanna took center stage for the halftime show.

The game was fierce as two teams equally matched from head to toe went at it, and the Chiefs came up behind in the first half. Mahomes was hurt, and fans were wondering if it was going to take him out of the game. He held strong and faced his opponents in the second half with a drive in the third quarter that set the stage. It let the Eagles know that the game was still in pursuit, and it was up to anyone to grab.

In the meantime, Rihanna offered a brilliant halftime show that stunned the crowd. There were celebrities in the audience who had shown up to the biggest game in the football season to witness just her performance. Afterward, it prompted a firestorm of memes because, after all, she is Rihanna, and that’s just want happens when you are a star as famous as her.

Even the dancers have a meme.

With much love and a reference to her song, “Diamonds,” will fans see her in a video game fighting wars? It looks like that’s what they would like to see.

With the reference, fans won’t let it quit.

An ingenious move to drop out of the sky on platforms, but it doesn’t stop gamers from only seeing one thing, and this reference goes back decades.

Is Rihanna a gamer? Is this the look she was targeting?

Anyone joking about it just might get the glare from the queen herself. If they only knew what it took to put a halftime show together that was going to be tested against Prince, Michael Jackson. The Rolling Stones, and Lady Gaga, they might pause for a moment and give her a few stars for creativity and all the rest of the stones for nailing the halftime show.

While the Chiefs are now celebrating another ring under Mahome’s leadership, Rihanna can stand proud knowing she delivered a great halftime performance. All the memes are only pointing to the fact that she got their attention. Drop the mic, and walk away.
