Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood will be receiving two free downloadable packs, as announced by Ubisoft. The first, entitled ‘Animus Project Update 1.0’, is available right now for Xbox Live and Playstation Network, and contains a new map and a new multiplayer mode, among small tweaks and a few other added features.

Also, coming later in January, Ubisoft will release the ‘Animus Project Update 2.0’, which will contain more free DLC. We will get another free map, named ‘Pienza’, along with an entirely new multiplayer mode called ‘Chest Capture’. Clearly, Ubisoft is trying to thank the fans for buying the game, while simultaneously upgrading and updating the popular multiplayer mode  in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.
