Assassin’s Creed Was Originally A Prince Of Persia Sequel

I may be behind the times on this one, but I didn’t know that Assassin’s Creed was originally planned as a Prince of Persia sequel. In retrospect it makes complete sense, but I don’t think I ever really suspected as much. Either way, a batch of concept art for the original version, entitled Prince of Persia HD then Prince of Persia: Assassins, has made its way onto the Internet. Those images are accompanied by a trailer.
