Batman: Arkham Origins is aiming to explore the beginning of Mr. Freeze and Batman’s rivalry when Cold, Cold Heart launches on April 22 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Unfortunately, Warner Bros. made it clear that the DLC will not find a home on the Wii U, due to a lack of demand.

The story based content will have players exploring various locations around Gotham City, including Wayne Manor, and gives Batman access to a host of new wonderful toys. Accessing your trusty utility belt will give you the ability to wield devices like the Thermal Gloves and Thermocharged Batarangs. Additionally, the new Batman Extreme Environment suit will give Batman an edge against the frozen villain.

Warner Bros. has stated that the content is aiming to add “several hours” of gameplay, but it remains to be seen exactly how long players should expect the new content to last.

Cold, Cold Heart will be available for $10 as a stand alone purchase, or can be acquired by picking up the game’s season pass for $20.

Will you be purchasing Batman: Arkham Origins‘ new Mr. Freeze focused DLC, or are you planning to leave it out in the cold? Let us know in the comments below.
