EA and developer Visceral Games have confirmed that Battlefield Hardline will get its penultimate expansion pack next month.

Entitled Getaway, January’s content pack is the third of four planned DLC add-ons for the cops-versus-robbers shooter, and it’s been billed as “the fastest, most explosive expansion yet.” No word yet on a specific release for the expansion, though here’s what Hardline fans can expect come January.

  • Four massive maps: Pacific Highway, Double Cross, Train Dodge, and Diversion
  • New game mode: Capture the Bag
  • 4 new vehicles
  • 3 new weapons for the Mechanic Class
  • One new gadget and a new melee weapon
  • 4 new Legendary Camos

Those who are members of Battlefield Premium will be able to access Getaway first before it opens up for everyone two weeks after the initial release. The fourth and final expansion, Betrayal, is expected to drop in spring of 2016.

In related news, DICE Development Director Dan Vaderlind confirmed that he’ll be among the core team migrating to Battlefield 5, while a portion of the development team continue to support Star Wars Battlefront in the months after launch. Granted, it’s unclear if the next installment in DICE’s first-person shooter series will be a numerical entry or a new spinoff in the vein of Hardline, though we’ll keep you updated as it progresses.

Battlefield Hardline, meanwhile, will now receive its penultimate expansion in January.
