Behold The Power Of The Moogle In Final Fantasy XIII-2

The Moogle has been a mainstay of the Final Fantasy games for many generations, but usually they're limited to saving your game or providing a means of magical transportation later in the game. In Final Fantasy XIII-2, however, the Moogle plays a much bigger part.

The Moogle has been a mainstay of the Final Fantasy games for many generations, but usually they’re limited to saving your game or providing a means of magical transportation later in the game. In Final Fantasy XIII-2, however, the Moogle plays a much bigger part.

As seen in the new trailer below, the Moogle that accompanies Serah and Noel actually has practical use this time around. Mog can search out treasures that may not be immediately noticeable to those speeding through the game.

Players can also hilariously toss Mog to items otherwise unreachable. Mog is also, strangely enough, able to transform himself into Serah’s weapon, proving that Moogles really can kick ass if they wanted to. Mog also has the added ability of looking adorable.
