Bethesda has announced today that those who pre-order their copy of RAGE from a North American Gamestop, Amazon.com, Steam and Direct-to-Drive will be automatically upgraded to the “Anarchy Edition” and will receive exclusive content. You’ll get four exclusive in-game items. These include a double barrel shotgun, Crimson Elite Armor, Fists of RAGE (spiked brass knuckles) and a car called the “Rat Rod Buggy.

Bethesda also released a new trailer today, and after watching it, I was amazed at the clearly identifiable remains of a modern city populated by mutant zombie like creatures. One of the largest of those creatures looked to be almost as tall as a three story building. But hey don’t take my word for it, take a look for yourself.

RAGE drops on Sept 13, 2011.
