Ahead of tomorrow’s House of Wolves launch – Destiny‘s sophomore expansion pack – Bungie has warned Guardians to expect intermittent connection problems as the developer deploys the final preparations before the add-on goes live for all.
Due to arrive across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PC tomorrow, May 19, at 10am PT/1pm ET, House of Wolves will introduce a hoard of new content into the shared-world shooter – but, crucially, no raid – including additional weaponry, strike missions and more.
House of Wolves will be released at 10 AM Pacific on May 19th. Today, we’re deploying final pre-load.

Before House of Wolves formally goes live tomorrow, all Destiny users will have to download a mandatory patch in order to update the shooter itself. According to Bungie, said update will entail a connection recovery for the new-fangled Trials of Osiris multiplayer feature, which will enable Guardians to partake in weekly events as they battle for online supremacy.
As for the update in question, here’s what users can expect in the build up to tomorrow’s launch:
“Anticipate brief connection interruptions as early as 8AM Pacific on Monday (5/18) morning. Be careful about starting activities you can’t finish before 8AM Pacific. Watch this space for details. In one hour, we’re deploying final updates to prepare for tomorrow’s release of House of Wolves. This will cause a connection interruption.”
