Hope you’re one of the many unhappy with Dante’s look in DmC, because the game has gotten an official release date, but it’s surprisingly far off. Not even in this year, in fact.

Capcom has revealed the game will hit shelves on January 15, 2013 for both North America and Europe. They also mentioned that they’re “well underway” on a PC version of the game to be released later in 2013. Which, given their track record of PC ports, probably means it’ll show up next April.

DmC is expected to be present in some way, shape or form at E3 2012 in two weeks. If I can manage to get my hands on it at all, I’ll let you know if it’s worthy of carrying the Devil May Cry name or not.

What say you, gamers? What ever happened to the 2012 release window?
