According to a new job listing, Electronic Arts and Crytek have partnered together for a new unannounced project, which is speculated to be Crysis 3.

The job listing, which was posted by Electronic Arts, is for a Video Director position that will have the new hire “embed with partner studio (Crytek) to provide inspiration and creative focus for the project team.”

EA did not state in the ad what project the studio is working on, but did mentioned that “CryEngine knowledge” is considered an asset. Combining that bit of information from the job description with the success of Crysis 2 and the recent port of the original Crysis to consoles, would seem to indicate that an announcement of Crysis 3 could be looming in the future.
