Star Trek: Bridge Crew wasn’t the only VR title showcased during Ubisoft’s E3 presser. Amid new trailers for Watch Dogs 2, Ghost Recon: Wildlands and For Honor, the mega-publisher also turned the spotlight to Eagle Flight, the aerial experience that ought to be avoided for those subject to a touch of vertigo.
Set for release across Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and the PlayStation VR in the fall, Eagle Flight “sends you to the skies of Paris to experience the freedom of flying and heart-pounding aerial dogfights like never before! Watch the team-based VR gameplay in Eagle Flight’s multiplayer that provides a great challenge each time your eagle takes flight and makes for some memorable moments with friends.”
Objective-based gameplay takes center stage in this new, multiplayer-focused trailer, and it’s interesting to see how Ubisoft is opening up the game so that it can be enjoyed with friends, effectively allaying some fears that VR will prove to be an isolating experience.
Eagle Flight is pegged to swoop onto Oculus Rift, Vive and PlayStation VR some time before the year’s end.
