Fortnite Season 8

Fortnite Season 8 Week 2 Challenges Have Leaked

Ahead of their arrival next week, the challenges for Fortnite Season 8 Week 2 have now leaked online. Take a look at what's in store.

As Fortnite players jump into the brand new season, they’ll find several changes to the map which introduce lava-filled locations, as well as pirate and ninja-themed skins, in the Season 8 Battle Pass.

Like others before it, Season 8 provides weekly challenges which are tasks to complete in-game, whether it be dealing damage with a certain type of weapon or discovering a hidden secret around the map. Some of these are more difficult than others, and they can play to different people’s strengths. Completing each set of challenges every week can be a chore, sure, but they’re a good source of XP for leveling up and getting to higher tiers of the Battle Pass.

And now, with the Week 1 challenges having already been available for a few days, it’s time to look ahead and see what Week 2 has to offer. Of course, Epic has yet to peel back the lid on that, but a new leak has clued us in on what to expect, and you can see the challenges for yourself in the gallery down below.

None of these are too out of the ordinary for Fortnite and for the most part, they follow similar patterns set out by former challenges, but they still look like a fun batch of tasks for players to complete and hopefully, we’ll get some confirmation on them sooner rather than later. After all, the Week 2 challenges are set to go live on March 8th, so it shouldn’t be too much longer now before we can dive right in.

Until then, it at least seems like Season 8 is going down well with the fanbase. Some of the game’s top players are enjoying what’s on offer. @TypicalGamer says the new updates is “real fun,” while @WhosDixon (among many others) is full of praise for the revamped UI. And @Ninja, perhaps the most prolific Fortnite player, seems as enthusiastic as ever, Tweeting: “LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO.”

What do you think of all the new updates, though? Are you enjoying the changes that’ve been made for Fortnite Season 8? As always, you can leave your thoughts in the comments section down below.
