Giant Beavers Arrive With Latest Ark: Survival Evolved Update

With patch 236, the giant beaver can be tamed and used as a reliable mount for survivors. They naturally gather wood extremely efficiently, far more than most species on the island. It’s not the strongest creature, however, so it can only carry limited amounts, and it also doesn’t realize quite how dangerous the island can be.

Along with the handy giant beavers, this latest version also grants players the use of handcuffs for restraining raiders or other troublemakers. Quite why this is such a notable inclusion is a little bit of a baffling, but hey, whatever floats your boat!

As always, there are a handful of other tweaks and upgrades with this latest update, which Ark: Survival Evolved players can start enjoying right now.
