New For Honor Video Shows Off The Development History

The marketing push for Ubisoft’s latest IP has already begun, as the French publisher has released an all-new trailer for For Honor. The hack and slash game is currently set for a 2016 release, and the publisher is offering up a brief view of how the game was conceptualized in this latest video.

For Honor had a promising debut showing at E3 2015 by showing off plenty of gameplay, and this behind-the-scenes clip lets us know that the development team is very passionate about what they’re working on. It looks like Ubisoft has gathered the right group of talent here, including members that had previously worked on fighting games and who can create a hack and slash title that isn’t the repetitive grind that so many players associate the genre with.

Ubisoft will allow four players to fight together in 2016 when For Honor releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
