Despite being a high-profile reboot of a classic franchise, 2013’s Killer Instinct was only available through either the Xbox One marketplace or the Microsoft store. Developer Iron Galaxy is remedying that, though, as they have announced that the title will receive a full-fledged retail release next month.

Dubbed the “Killer Instinct: Combo Breaker Pack,” this $20 set will include all eight fighters from the first season of the title. The current roster includes the likes of fan favorites Jago, Glacius and Fulgore, as well as new to the franchise fighter, Sadira. In addition to those eight combatants, the release will also include a code to download TJ Combo at no additional cost. The returning Mr. Combo is scheduled to be included in the upcoming second season of the title.

When you crunch the numbers, the Combo Breaker Pack appears to be a better deal for those who haven’t already purchased Killer Instinct. The digital version of the pack, which was released alongside the Xbox One’s launch, carries the same cost, but does not include TJ Combo. The demo version of Killer Instinct, which lets players purchase additional characters for $5 a pop, would cost around $40 for the complete roster.

Killer Instinct: Combo Breaker Pack is available exclusively on the Xbox One and will hit store shelves on September 23.
