Kratos Comes To Playstation Vita As God Of War 1 & 2 Are Confirmed For Sony’s Handheld

Though the industry limelight was firmly trained on the Playstation 4, Sony confirmed at their E3 press conference yesterday evening that God of War 1 & 2 will be ported to the Playstation Vita in HD.

The two games were initially part of the God of War collection which became available for Playstation 3 back in 2009 and will soon become available for the Playstation Vita. Joining Kratos on the Vita are the likes of Telltale Game’s The Walking Dead and indie darling Flower, as Sony strive to bolster the device’s portable selection which, using services such as Remote Play and the online streaming system Gaikai, will play an integral role in the Playstation 4’s ecosystem.

At present, Sony Santa Monica gave no details concerning a release date or potential pricing for God Of War 1 & 2 for Vita, but we’ll be sure to update you as soon as the information becomes available.
