Mario Kart Wheel For Nintendo 3DS Revealed

Nintendo, in all its peripheral glory, has partnered with Hori (the makers of fantastic fighting sticks) to make a wheel attachment for the 3DS. The wheel looks exactly as you would expect, a plastic piece that attaches to the back of the handheld to utilize the tilt controls of the 3DS. The aim is for players to utilize its grips while playing Mario Kart 7.

While at first glance the idea seems awesome, I think it’s going to break any 3D used by the system. The viewing angle for 3D is so small that any movement at all can completely ruin the effect, much less constant moving to and fro.

That’s just my opinion though, who knows, it may work out alright. Let us know what you think in the comments.
