Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Gifts Players With Three New Runes

Monolith has released its first free add-on for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, offering players three rather helpful runes for no money at all. Known as the Power of Shadow pack, this gifted piece of DLC will certainly be a great help for gamers who've yet to beat this challenging action-adventure game. However, those who would prefer to enjoy the base experience, without any additional perks, will likely want to pass altogether.

Monolith has released its first free add-on for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, offering players three rather helpful runes for no money at all. Known as the Power of Shadow pack, this gifted piece of DLC will certainly be a great help for gamers who’ve yet to beat this challenging action-adventure game. However, those who would prefer to enjoy the base experience, without any additional perks, will likely want to pass altogether.

Honestly, I’m kind of glad that this add-on wasn’t available to me during my review process, because the included runes are far too cheat-like. That said, I likely wouldn’t have bothered to download them.

Anyways, as for the runes, there are three of them in this pack and they’re set-up as follows:

One With Nature – Immunity to poison attacks from Uruk captains
Ascendant – Double focus time for ranged combat
Elven Rage – Increased damage resistance, which reduces taken damage by half

Does the above list of new Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor runes look overly cheat-like to you? Let us know via our comments section.
