Dragon’s Dogma will have some massive battles with some gigantic monsters. But the ultimate test will be brought in the form of the Ur-Dragon, the ultimate foe, which will have millions of combatants trying to tackle him.
The battle will allow players to connect over their online service of choice and slowly chip away at the health of the Ur-Dragon. He who strikes the final blow will reap unparalleled rewards, although everyone who contributes damage will pick up item drops and have their names recorded when the dragon should finally fall. It’ll take multiple encounters from players all over the world to finally slay the beast.
Those without online access will be able to play as well, however their rewards will be much less awesome than the full online version.
