Warner has recently announced they would be rebooting the Mortal Kombat franchise, now they’ve come out saying two special editions of the game will be released.

The Kollector’s Edition(no that isn’t a typo) of the game will come with a figurine of both Sub-Zero and Scorpion, an art book, and a code for some DLC that will feature custom in-game costumes and avatar costumes. The Tournament edition will feature a portable arcade style fight stick, however, only twenty thousand tournament edition will be sold, and it is also limited to North America. It is unknown whether the DLC will be the same or differ between PS3 and Xbox 360.

No set prices of either edition has been confirmed, the game is set to release in April 2011.
