PlayStation Plus Update: Soul Sacrifice Is Now Free, But Not Much Else

With games like Binary Domain and ibb & obb — not to mention Contrast and Resogun for the newly launched PS4 — hitting the Instant Game Collection in the past few weeks, November has been a outstanding month for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Sadly, it ends on a bit of a whimper, with tomorrow’s update containing Soul Sacrifice for the Vita and not much else.

That’s not to say that there’s anything wrong with Keiji Inafune’s action RPG, but there is a relatively decent amount of PlayStation Plus members who are left out in the cold with these Vita-only IGC updates. To make matters worse there is not much comfort to be found in this week’s discounts, as they consist entirely of Dynasty Warriors 6 and Dynasty Warriors 7, for $11.99 and $19.99 respectively.

So yeah, unless you have really been hoping to get your hands on a free Draw Slasher Hanzo avatar (which is also a thing that is happening when the PS Store updates tomorrow) there is not much included in this week’s update to get excited for.

The only other thing to note is that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is leaving the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection on December 3rd, along with the discount on Worms 2: Armageddon. If either of those titles tickle your fancy, make sure to pull the trigger before next week.
