Sony has confirmed that PlayStation VR launch bundles will be available to pre-order for North America from Tuesday, March 29, at 7:00 a.m. PST.

Launch bundles can be pre-ordered through participating retailers including Amazon and Best Buy for $499, and considering just how quickly the initial batch of PSVR hardware sold out in the UK last week, we’d advise you to act fast if you want to secure the head-mounted device.

Included in the bundle are the VR headset itself, Processor unit, VR headset connection cable, HDMI cable, USB cable, Stereo headphones, AC power cord, AC adaptor, PlayStation VR Demo Disc, PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move motion controllers, and PlayStation VR Worlds Game Disc.

Sony’s John Koller said in a statement that “it’s clear that there’s a lot of interest from many of you to secure the PlayStation VR core system, and I’m happy to share that we’ve decided to make it available for pre-order on Tuesday, March 29, at 7:00 a.m. PST at participating retailers,”

PlayStation VR will launch worldwide at some point in October, where it will be priced at $399. A standalone version of the hardware will be available to pre-order via participating retailers from March 29.
