Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Sets Its Outbreak Date

Raccoon City will play host to a cooperative zombie shootout on March 20, 2012, which is the announced release date for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. At least, the console versions of the title. Gamers interested in picking up the PC version of the game will have to wait for a second release date announcement, sometime in the future.

In addition to making the announcement regarding the official release date for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Capcom also gave us the scoop on what to expect within its Special Edition set:

A copy of the Resident Evil: Raccoon City game disc
Steelbook case with exclusive artwork
Stylized foil sleeve
Umbrella Security Service embroidered patch
All eight bonus weapons

Fans who pre-order the game at GameStop, Amazon.com or Best Buy, will receive an additional costume for each of the title’s six playable characters. There will also be two weapons that are unique to each retailer.
