6) Captain Phasma

Yes folks, that’s right: since it seems Battlefront won’t be taking inspiration from any of the prequel trilogy – which is a damn shame given the quality of some of those characters – then the expansion of the game’s universe will have to come from the upcoming expansion of the movies. So, what better place to start than with the most badass-looking Stormtrooper there’s ever been?

Phasma – played by Gwendoline Christie in The Force Awakens – will be one of the film’s secondary antagonists as a captain of The First Order. Little is known about Phasma’s personality or military history, but her commanding role suggests that she’s absolutely not someone you want to mess with. After all, how many Stormtroopers in the original trilogy were seen surviving long enough to reach the rank of captain? Most of them were killed by teddy bears with sticks!

In the early trailer footage, Phasma is shown strolling casually across ruined battlefields, appearing calm and considered in the midst of the chaos. The character’s appearance is wonderful and would no doubt translate perfectly into the graphics of the game.

Experience is key on the battlefield, and having a commanding presence joining the fight for the Imperials would certainly boost their morale and chances of success.
