It’s been a long wait for those who have craved an interactive video experience situated within George R.R. Martin’s fantastical realm of Westeros, but with Telltale’s episodic series, it looks as though we may have a Game of Thrones game worthy of its name. With the likes of Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey and Natalie Dormer reprising their roles from HBO’s beloved show, there’s no doubting that the adaptation has a significant amount of clout behind it.
And according to a new report by Entertainment Weekly, the studio is set to introduce two fan favorites over the course of the next five episodes in Daenarys Targaryen and Jon Snow. It’s unclear when exactly those characters will appear, but given that the pair have a major role to play on proceedings throughout the course of seasons three, four and five — a period that Telltale’s series will cover — their inclusion should come as no surprise.
Telltale’s Game of Thrones debuted just yesterday across consoles and PC with its first installment, Iron From Ice. In it, players will take up arms as five members of House Forrester who find themselves caught amidst the all-encompassing War of the Five Kings.
Stay tuned to We Got This Covered over the coming days when we’ll have our own thoughts on Game of Thrones‘ maiden episode, Iron From Ice, for you to enjoy.
