Here’s Twenty Minutes Of Hellraid Running On A New Engine

In order to better the game and improve its end user experience, Techland decided to move Hellraid — its first-person hack n’ slasher — to Chrome Engine 6. As such, it now runs on the same engine that powers Dying Light.

To show off their hard work and promote the upcoming game, the developer recently livestreamed Hellraid over the Internet. The result — a twenty minute-long narrated demo — is below, and it’s something that you’ll definitely want to watch if you’re a fan of medieval experiences and The Elder Scrolls series.

Although the combat could do with a bit of refining, what we’ve been gifted with is still a pretty impressive look at a game that may end up being an absolute winner. Here’s hoping that’ll be the case, when Hellraid hits Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC next year.
