In addition to the content previously unveiled by Whitebox Interactive, today’s version comes with a new game mode and an additional playable character. The Soul Hunter mode will see competitors killing their enemies and capturing their souls to take to the Dark Nexus, with the points offered increasing dramatically as kill-streaks grow.

Meanwhile, the game’s new Lychguard is a Necron warrior, included after the race was heavily requested by fans while the game was in Beta testing. The Lychguard is a powerful veteran warrior perfectly suited to guarding fellow team members in close quarters combat.

Jonathan Falkowski, CEO of Whitebox Interactive, has spoken of his excitement about what the game will offer to MOBA fans, saying that:

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena  features a control scheme that shooter fans will love with the teamwork and character progression MOBA fans expect, in one of the most beloved franchises in gaming. After months of feedback in closed beta testing, we know Dark Nexus Arena will deliver a much more polished experience than the majority of games in Early Access.

With the game now available, it’s the perfect time to dive in to Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena to combat the threat posed by the deadly Dark Eldar before they can infect the purity of Imperial space.!
