On December 18th, Twitch will be live streaming the events as eight of the greatest Madden NFL 16 players compete against each other for a shot at advancing through the EA SPORTS Madden NFL Live Challenge. The stream starts at 1:00pm ET/10:00am PT via twitch.tv/easports.

Tomorrow’s player line up is set to include Eric “Problem” Wright, widely considered to be the globe’s top Madden NFL player, as they lay it all on the line for their shot at the finals. The players will participate in a round-robin tournament, with the top four advancing. The competitors will be playing the new Draft Champions Ranked mode in Madden NFL 16, which delivers the excitement of a fantasy draft by allowing gamers to assemble a team of current NFL players and all-time legends over a series of quick rounds. Each one will then take their squad on the field to compete against other drafted teams.

The competition is sure to be fiercely contested, and widely promoted by EA Sports after the company announced the development of their in-house Competitive Gaming Division back last week.

Madden NFL 16 is available worldwide now, and you can check out our review of the game right here.
