Heralding the return of Kat, Sony’s gravity queen, the follow-up is primed to shed more light on our heroine’s mysterious origins story, who began her adventure back in 2012 – at a time when Gravity Rush released as a PlayStation Vita exclusive – as a clumsy amnesiac.

Thankfully, that endearing charm hasn’t gone anywhere, and the trailer above also features the fan-favorite Raven. Here’s the lowdown on what to expect from Gravity Rush 2:

“Another mind-bending adventure awaits gravity queen Kat as a new danger emerges to threaten the fabric of the universe itself. Still searching for clues behind the mystery of her origin, and with the powerful Raven at her side, Kat must master three unique gravity attack styles as she takes on enemies and massive bosses.”

Buoyed by the success of the recent PS4 port of the original game, Gravity Rush 2 is expected to launch for PlayStation 4 later this year.
