This week, we conclude our special, long-awaited, three-part countdown of our Top 10 Favorite Video Games of All Time. As explained previously, I am out of town for a little while, so we recorded this three-part installment in advance, similar to how we presented countdowns of our favorite movies (part 1 and part 2) and favorite TV shows (part 1 and part 2). As with the other lists in this vein, Sean and I each made our own lists, and go back and forth presenting, discussing, and analyzing our choices. We have put a little more production into this countdown, with musical introductions for each title, but otherwise, you know the drill: We love video games, we love talking about video games, and we had an awful lot of fun talking about the video games we love the most.
The first two episodes covered our picks for #10 – #4 on the countdown, which leaves us with three titles apiece to share and discuss on this final installment. These are our very favorite video games ever, so there is a lot to talk about – particularly when it comes to sweeping masterpieces like the Mass Effect or Persona games – and we greatly enjoyed recording it. We hope you have had fun listening to this three-week project, and cannot wait to return next week with all new content.
