Nintendo announced that, much like the Nintendo Entertainment System, the Wii U will support two game pads. However, its demonstrations at E3 2012 will focus on only solo challenges.

More information is expected to be announced in coming weeks, as the company unveils more about the system. They’ve deemed that there’s “simply too much to show off during one week.”
