Nintendo announced today during their New York City press event that their first and third-party launch lineup for the Wii U includes over fifty titles within the launch window.

The Wii U‘s launch window is defined as starting on its launch date, November 18th, and ends on the same day as Nintendo’s fiscal year end, March 31, 2013. Given the long period of time, and the amount of titles, it is likely that some of these will slip. Even with that reality, this is an impressively long list of Wii U launch window software.
