Zsasz Batman Begins

Given his knack for toning down the more ridiculous elements of Batman characters, serial killer Victor Zsasz is a perfect fit for Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. A psychopath who carves a tally mark into his skin for every kill he makes, he’s not the usual gimmicky Gotham criminal.

It is not surprising, then, that the character made a cameo appearance in Batman Begins. In the movie, he is one of Falcone’s thugs who Dr. Crane gets out of a jail sentence by claiming he is insane. Unusually, the implication is that this version is actually of a perfectly sound mind. He is later one of those to escape from Arkham Asylum during the film’s finale.

If you missed the name, the giveaway that this is Zsasz are the tally marks that can be seen on his neck during one particular scene.
