Solo A Star Wars Story is finally here, and as you might expect, it's full of easter eggs, references and callbacks to the previous adventures set in the galaxy far, far away. Being a prequel that fills in the early years of the scruffy-looking nerf herder, now played by Alden Ehrenreich, it gets to pick up and tie together, or at least be inspired by, many storylines and characters from various movies, TV shows and even old EU novels.

Solo A Star Wars Story is finally here, and as you might expect, it’s full of easter eggs, references and callbacks to the previous adventures set in that galaxy far, far away. Being a prequel that fills in the early years of the scruffy-looking nerf herder, now played by Alden Ehrenreich, it gets to pick up and tie together, or at least be inspired by, many storylines and characters from various movies, TV shows and even old EU novels.

For instance, we finally get to see Han pull off that famous Kessel Run in 12 parsecs (we even learn that he’s rounding down when he says that), we find out how the titular hero got the legendary name of Solo and exactly how he won his beloved Millennium Falcon from Lando Calrissian in a game of Sabaac. Of course, there are also a bunch of fun cameos, too, such as Jon Favreau as the monkey-like alien, Rio.

Those are just some of the more obvious connections to Star Wars past and future, though. Hidden within Solo are also a lot of more obscure nods and callbacks, and while it may take repeat viewings to catch them all, here are 10 interesting ones which you may have missed while watching it.
