5) Martian Manhunter
Martian Manhunter has been both an ally and enemy to the Justice League over the years, and while he wasn’t among those announced as having their own movie as part of Warner Bros.’ DC Comics slate, there have been rumblings for a while now that he’ll show up in this superhero ensemble a couple of years from now.
Assuming that this team are going to be battling a cosmic threat like Brainiac or Darkseid, having someone like J’onn J’onz (who was teleported to Earth from Mars and left stranded here years ago) serving as part of the team could come in very handy indeed in terms of how the story plays out.
His range of telepathic and shape shifting abilities meanwhile would also bring something very different to Justice League, and it would be a great shame to see this fan-favourite hero overlooked in either of these movies.
