The 10 Most Disturbing Movie Scenes Of 2014

I will woefully admit that I am a bit disappointed in the lack of truly disturbing scenes in cinema this year. While I can also admit that it was a good year for movies, it was not a good year for movies that screwed with your head and made you want to vomit everywhere (which I am a fan of, and you must be too seeing as to how you are reading this article right now). That doesn't mean 2014 was without its disturbing film moments, as there are still a handful that made me feel like I needed to take a bath, but it just didn't come close to what we saw in 2013.

Extraterrestrial may have suffered from some subpar acting, but it also might be the best “alien abduction” movie since Fire in the Sky. We have all thought about what it would be like to be abducted, and I also know we probably wonder what horrible things aliens do to us. Though most alien movies have implied some of the things that get done, Extraterrestrial takes its final moments to actually SHOW us.

This means that yes, the dreaded anal probe that has been the source of laughter and mirth among pop culture jokers for years gets the film treatment here, but it is FAR from being funny. All I will say about it is that it looks a lot more painful than we have ever imagined. Also, the word probe makes it sound round. They need to rename it “spiky, rotating asshole punisher” to be more accurate.

Honestly, I always thought that being abducted by aliens might be kinda cool, but this scene made me rethink that.
