According to the official synopsis, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stop-over, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

The studio is still keeping a lot of the film under wraps, but what we’ve seen so far definitely looks promising. While it may not reach quite the same heights that the Harry Potter franchise did, getting the chance to return to this magical world for another adventure should still be a lot of fun.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them also stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman and Carmen Ejogo, and is set to be released worldwide on November 18, 2016.
