I have to be honest, it looks slightly silly. Hathaway is straddling the Bat-Pod and it doesn’t suit. Neither do the chunky goggles, which are highly unusual and I hope she doesn’t wear those for most the movie. I know Nolan is all about realism and she does look like more of a robber rather than a prostitute, but Frank Miller’s reinvention of the character as a prostitute could have easily fit into the Nolan world and not look like this.

To be honest, compared to the first image of Superman we got yesterday, I prefer that. And I never thought I’d say that a Zack Snyder invention is better than a Nolan one. However there will be plenty more images coming out way, and I whole heartedly trust Nolan, it doesn’t put a dampener on things for me just yet. I only hope more detailed looks at Catwoman will prove me wrong.

The Dark Knight Rises is currently in production and will open on July 20th, 2012.
