At this point, given the insane amount of hype surrounding it, the first trailer for Avengers 4 had better be one of the best previews in all of cinema history. Seriously. Not a day goes by without some form of furious speculation being whipped up about when it may drop and what it’ll show us, and with anticipation at an all-time high now, it’s fair to say that that excitement is in danger of turning into frustration.
But fear not, dear reader. Despite November nearing its end, it still does seem like the preview will arrive before we flip the calendar to December, and today, we can narrow down the date a little bit more. That’s because Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel Live, two shows that were strong candidates for where the trailer would premiere, have been ruled out.
Therefore, that leaves three options as for when the footage could arrive, and they’re as follows: Monday Night Football on November 26th, the special Q&A Infinity War screening on the 28th or, failing either of those, a “Direct Drop” online at some point next week.
Of course, that’s even assuming that we get the trailer this month. Though it seems likely that we will, a few reports have recently cast doubt on this, with co-director Joe Russo saying it may be held until early 2019 and MCU Cosmic tipster Jeremy Conrad strongly hinting that it’s been delayed.
But despite all that, fans remain hopeful and with any luck, November will indeed signal the arrival of the very first trailer for Avengers 4. And if it doesn’t, well, Marvel might just have a riot on their hands.
