A Whole New Batch Of Photos For Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained

Given his well known love for cult and genre movies, it makes sense that director Quentin Tarantino's next film, Django Unchained, should be a spaghetti western. Of course, one can expect that this will be no ordinary spaghetti western (he's calling it a "Southern") and we look forward to seeing the trademark flourishes and quirks he brings to his movies. The title can be expected to be the first of many homages to the genre.

Given his well known love for cult and genre movies, it makes sense that director Quentin Tarantino‘s next film, Django Unchained, should be a spaghetti western.

Of course, one can expect that this will be no ordinary spaghetti western (he’s calling it a “Southern”) and we look forward to seeing the trademark flourishes and quirks he brings to his movies. The title can be expected to be the first of many homages to the genre.

Those of you anticipating Django Unchained (and there are many) will be pleased to know that a new set of photos have been released, taking a look at a healthy portion of the cast.

No new pics of villain Leonardo DiCaprio, but we do get first looks at both Don Johnson and Walton Goggins, in addition to more pics of Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson.

Johnson will be playing a slave owner named Spencer “Big Daddy” Bennett, whilst Goggins plays Billy Crash, a slave wrangler under the employment of Calvin Candie (DiCaprio). Both unsavoury characters, then.

Also starring Jonah Hill, Zoe Bell, Tom Savini, Bruce Dern, James Russo and the great Franco Nero in a cameo role, Django Unchained will hit theaters on Christmas Day with a premiere at the Rome Film Festival being hinted at.
