As we get closer to the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, the official Twitter account for the movie has started sharing some new images from the highly anticipated release. While this one is a little more familiar than some of the others we’ve seen, it’s still a great shot of what promises to be a key scene in the movie.
It’s thought that Superman unmasking Batman is going to be part of the “Knightmare” sequence which is also going to hint at the impending arrival of Darkseid. While the Dark Knight having some bad dreams about the Man of Steel is perfectly understandable, why exactly he would be having premonitions of a villain that is believed to be Justice League‘s big bad is hard to say.
Either way, considering the fact that Zack Snyder has faced a fair bit of criticism for that trailer which seemingly laid out the plot of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice from start to finish, it’s nice to know that there are still at least some surprises in store.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.
