The Power Rangers have found their final member! The official Instagram account for the movie has confirmed that Becky Gomez (Empire) is set to take on the role of the Yellow Ranger in the movie, and she now joins a cast which includes Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, and RJ Cyler as the Blue Ranger.

The names of the actors listed above probably don’t ring a bell, but past reports have claimed that the studio was always planning on choosing unknowns to play the Power Rangers, with bigger stars chosen to appear as the villain/s. They’ll no doubt the the ones who are cast next, and it’s going to be very interesting to see what kind of stars the project is able to attract.

Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class) wrote this new take on Power Rangers, and with Dean Israelite in the director’s chair, it’s currently set to be released on January 13th, 2017.
