Captain America: Civil War To Include Strong Arcs For Vision, Spider-Man And Black Panther

Though we were kept in the dark on Captain America: Civil War for quite a long time, now that the film is only about 6 months away, the floodgates have opened up. From trailers to promo images, the stream of marketing material has been exciting, to say the least, and now, some of the filmmakers involved with Marvel's epic phase 3 outing have begun to open up about what we should expect.

Though we were kept in the dark on Captain America: Civil War for quite a long time, now that the film is only about 6 months away, the floodgates have opened up. From trailers to promo images, the stream of marketing material has been exciting, to say the least, and now, some of the filmmakers involved with Marvel’s epic phase 3 outing have begun to talk about what we should expect.

In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo explained that although there are a ton of main characters involved in the story, a lot of them will still have really interesting solo arcs:

“It’s a big movie and it includes a lot of characters. I think that a lot of them have really interesting arcs. I think Spider-Man in particular has a really fascinating arc.

Certainly Black Panther, who we introduce. Similarly there, introducing a character gives you a great opportunity to take them on a ride, you know?

Vision goes on a journey, as well.”

While these comments don’t give us a whole lot to go on, it’s certainly encouraging to hear that despite Captain America: Civil War being so jam packed with heroes, most of them are going to get strong arcs. One of the major concerns with this film is that there will be too much going on and some of the characters may be shoved to the side. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like that will be the case.

What’s also nice to hear is that Spidey, Vision and Black Panther in particular will get a chance to shine, as they’re three of the newest additions to the MCU and are perhaps the characters that fans are most excited to get up close and personal with.
